What is the Wave?

The Wave is your new form of public transportation. We are Houston's public circulator service. We operate on a fixed route for a fixed rate.

You can wave a Wave down to catch a ride. Or you can call to see when the Wave will be arriving. FREE parking is available for WAVE RIDERS at LOT H (southwest corner of Houston&Memorial) & 230 TC Jester (office building). Park for free or walk to our route, and ride The Wave all night.

The Wave is Houston’s first official "jitney" shuttle in 15 years. In Houston a jitney is a shared shuttle service operating on a fixed route for a fixed rate, or kind of a hybrid between taxi, limo, and public bus. Currently the Wave travels within the Washington Corridor, Midtown, the Heights, Houston's big event venues and plans of expanding with the needs of this awesome city.
