The Washington Wave, Houston’s first official "jitney" shuttle in 15 years. A jitney is a shared shuttle service operating on a fixed route for a fixed rate, or kind of a hybrid between taxi, limo, and public bus. Currently the Wave travels within the Washington Avenue District, Midtown & the Heights with plans of expanding with the needs of this awesome city.
